R.K. Ghosheh, M.D.
Dr. R.K. Ghosheh is a board-certified ophthalmologist and refractive
surgery specialist with extensive experience in laser vision correction, cataract surgery
and corneal transplantation. He established Ophthalmology Laser Center in 1985, and since
then, has performed more than 40,000 laser vision correction procedures, placing him at the
top of his field. More than 90 percent of Dr. Ghosheh’s patients are referrals from satisfied clients.
After completing residency training in ophthalmology at Erie County Medical Center, an affiliated hospital
of the University of New York, Dr. Ghosheh completed a corneal fellowship at the Francis Proctor Foundation
for Eye Research at the University of California, San Francisco. He is currently Chief of the Department
of Ophthalmology at Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center and a clinical faculty member at the University
of California, Irvine. He lectures internationally on the topic of LASIK and PRK, bringing the latest advances
in laser vision correction to his physician colleagues around the world.
Dr. Ghosheh has served as a commissioner on the Board of Medical Examiners for the State of California and is
a member of the California Medical Association, the Orange County Medical Association, the American Society of
Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the Outpatient Ophthalmic Surgery Society.
Faris R. Ghosheh, M.D.
Dr. Faris Ghosheh specializes in corneal transplantation, cataracts and refractive surgery. He graduated
Cum Laude from UC Irvine earning three degrees in Biology, History and English. After finishing his medical
school education at UC Irvine, Dr. Ghosheh headed east to complete his ophthalmology residency at University
of Maryland. He then completed a fellowship in cornea and external disease at the prestigious Wills Eye Institute
in Philadelphia.
Dr. Faris Ghosheh has published articles in several peer-reviewed journals and has received recognition as a top
researcher in his field. He is a member of the Academy of Ophthalmology, the Association of Cataract and Refractive
surgeons, and the American Medical Association.
Donna Hwang, O.D.
Dr. Hwang received her undergraduate training at the University of California, Irvine. She then went on to the University
of Illinois where she received her Doctor of Optometry Degree.
Upon completing her Doctor of Optometry degree. Dr. Hwang completed a residency in Geriatric care/ocular pathology at
the West LA VA clinic in Los Angeles. She has also served as a Quality Management auditor of physician practices for
the vision plan of Foundation Health/Health Net.
She has also been a member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association and Orange
County Optometric Society.
Randall Wong, O.D.
Dr. Wong received his undergraduate training at the highly acclaimed University of California, Los Angeles. He then entered
the prestigious University of California, Berkeley where he received his Doctor of Optometry degree as well as a bachelor
of science in physiological optics. His emphasis in clinical training has been in specialized contact lenses, ocular pathology
and general eye care.
Dr. Wong has also served on the Public Policy Committee and Credentialing Committee for the vision plan of Foundation
Health/Health Net as well as a Quality Management auditor of physician practices. His responsibilities have been to establish
policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and that proper levels of care are being provided to patients.
Dr. Wong has also served as their Chief Medical Officer/Medical Director and is an active member of their Peer Review Committee.
Dr. Wong is a member of American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association and Orange County Optometric Society.
