Astigmatism
An optical error of the eye that can blur the vision at all distances. This results from the
cornea being oblong or oval, rather than perfectly round or spherical. This oblong or football
shape creates different focus points rather than one single sharp focus.
This can be corrected with glasses or contacts and with Laser Eye Surgery.
